Linda Rose Moon passed away Saturday, July 19, 2014 in Abilene, Texas. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 in North's Memorial Chapel , 242 Orange Street. Services will be Thursday, July 24th at 2:00p.m. At Potosi Baptist Church, 2826 Potosi Road Abilene, Texas. Interment to follow in Potosi Cemetery. Linda Rose Moon was born March 8, 1940 in Wills Point, Texas to Angus and Birdie Green. She married her husband Will on May 22, 1982. She was an artist, a writer, a fabulous cook, dedicated Christian, a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She had interests in photography, genealogy, and painting. In her later years, she wrote courses on Auctioneering. She is survived by her husband Will Moon, her brother Sherrell A. Green, sisters, Sondra G. Pelzel and Nelda Kay Mackey. She is also survived by her son Greg Sewell and his wife Monica, grandchildren Elizabeth and Chris Sewell. Granddaughter Misty Moon Pratka, and great-granddaughters Jacy and Jalyn Pratka. Granddaughter Codie Hollowell, great-granddaughters Byrin and Beau Hollowell. Grandchildren James, Elizabeth, Andrew, and Rachel Moon. She will be loved and missed by all. Flowers can be sent to North's Funeral Home.
