Lois Watkins, 80, of Abilene, passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2014. A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the I.O.O.F section of the City Cemetery under the direction of North's Funeral Home with Reverend Paul Matta officiating. Lois was a 1951 graduate of Abilene High School. She married J.R. Watkins on October 21, 1952 in New Mexico. She retired as a bookkeeper for Harley-Davidson and was a member of Berry Lane Baptist Church. Lois was preceded in death by her husband, four brothers, and three sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Jackie Turner of Abilene; her son, J. Scott Wathen of Delaware; three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild
