Lucille Zimmerle 79 of Abilene passed away August 6 2012. The family will be receiving guests for a visitation Friday August 10 2012 at 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at North's Memorial Chapel 242 Orange Street. A funeral service will be Saturday August 11 2012 10:00 a.m. at University Church of Christ with Bill Young officiating. Burial will follow at Dewey Cemetery in Lawn under the direction of North's Funeral Home. Lucille was born January 17 1933 in Crowell Texas to Hubert and Gracie Carroll. She married Earl Zimmerle on August 10 1951 in Crowell Texas; they had 61 wonderful years together. She was a member of University Church of Christ. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Marshall. She is survived by her husband Earl; son Jamie Zimmerle; daughter Dianna Zugai and husband Jay; three granddaughters Shauna Whitney and Lauren Zugai; and sister Teresa Harbaugh.
