Boots Hill 95 left for her heavenly home on Friday October 9 2009 to join her husband Loyd and all of her brothers sisters (family of seven) in-laws and many dear friends and loved ones for a great reunion. She had the gift of hospitality and was a servant of all. She was the matriarch who brought the family together and many in the great ACU family. She was a member of the University Church of Christ. Boots worked part time for KCNZ Christian Radio until the last year of her life. She loved her radio family. Boots to her friends and grammy to her seven grandchildren fifteen great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. She has a daughter Barbara Scott of Dallas and a son Jack Hill of Abilene. A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at the University Church of Christ with Jack Hill officiating. Burial be in Elmwood Memorial Park under the direction of North's Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 - 8:00 p.m. at North's Memorial Chapel 242 Orange St. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to KCNZ Christian Radio 542 Butternut Abilene Texas 79602
