Margaret Louise Fanous 75 of Abilene passed away May 4 2012. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at North's Funeral Home with Dr. Herb Wood officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Memorial Park under the direction of North's Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 a.m. at North's Memorial Chapel 242 Orange St . Margaret was born January 13 1937 in Abilene Texas to Ferris E. Shaheen and Ann Nazera Dwaileebe. She moved to Canton Ohio in 1946 and graduated from North Canton High School in 1955. She returned to Abilene in 1957. She married Elias Issa Fanous on February 18 1962. She had five children Dr. Elias Issa Fanous Jr. David Elias Fanous Elizabeth Elias Fanous John Elias Fanous and Leila Elias Fanous . She was a loving and spiritual woman. Her family was her life. After her children were grown she and her daughter Leila turned her hobby and passion into a business by starting Pat-A-Cake bakery in Abilene . She was a gourmet cook. She is preceded in death by her beloved father and mother her husband and two brothers F. E. Shaheen Jr. and Richard E. Shaheen. She is survived by her five children Dr. Elias Issa Fanous Jr. and wife Connie of Tyler David Elias Fanous and wife Nikki of Trophy Club Elizabeth Elias Fanous of Decatur John Elias Fanous and his wife Tracy of McKinney and Leila Elias Fanous of Abilene . Five sisters Victoria Ann Shaheen Rosemary Shaheen Choate Barbara Shaheen Price Edra Shaeen Westmoreland and Virginia Shaheen Lehrman.
