Margaret Henrietta Simpson McClung 89 of Abilene passed away peacefully September 11 2008. Services will be held Monday September 15 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in North's Memorial Chapel with Roger McCown officiating. Burial will follow in Midway Cemetery under the direction of North's Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday September 14 2008 from 6-7:30 p.m. in North's Memorial Chapel 242 Orange St. She was born May 2 1919 in Hawley Texas to Cyrus and Bernice Simpson. In her earlier years she was a dietician in Sitka Alaska. She was a faithful member of Baker Heights Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents one brother and one sister. She is survived by her children; sons Weldon McClung and wife Lou of Tuscumbia Alabama Joe McClung and wife Barbie of Juno Alaska Derrel McClung of Cantonment Florida Ron McClung and wife Martha of Lake Whitney daughter Nanci Richardson and husband Frank of Abilene; seven sisters; three brothers; sixteen grandchildren; seventeen great- grandchildren; numerous nieces nephews and friends.
