Maria V. Gonzales 60 of Abilene went to be with her Lord on April 30 2008. A Funeral Service will be held at North's Memorial Chapel on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. with Father Bush officiating. Visitation and Rosary will be Friday evening from 6 - 7:30 p.m. at North's Memorial Chapel 242 Orange St. Mrs. Gonzales was born May 14 1947 to Juan and Angelica Rendon in San Antonio Texas. She married Joe T. Gonzales in May of 1972 in Brenham Texas. They moved to Abilene in 1972. She worked for Texas Instruments for many years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother. She is survived by her husband Joe T. Gonzales; one son John Gonzales and wife Marie of Abilene. Three grandchildren; Joshua Terral Justin Gonzales and Stormi Rain Gonzales. Four brothers; Eloy Rodriquez of San Angelo Texas Pete Rendon of San Antonio Texas George Rendon of Washington D.C. and Alex Rendon of Converse Texas.
