Maria Gloria Munoz, age 78 passed from this life on Saturday, September 23rd, 2023. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, September 28, 2024, at North's Funeral Home, 242 Orange Street in Abilene with Brother Don Greenway officiating. Burial will follow at the Abilene City Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 27th from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at North's Funeral Home. Maria was born on October 9th, 1944, in Ropesville, Texas to Balentine and Ramona Carrizales. She was preceded in death by her parents, Balentine and Ramona Carrizales; sons, Andy Gutierrez, Max Sosa and Mark Sosa: brother, Balentine Carrizales, Jr; sister, Guadalupe Montoya and son in law, Jose Lara. Maria is survived by her children, Guadalupe Gutierrez and wife, Lenora, Virginia Lara, Alicia Sosa, Josephina Davis and husband, Thomas, Annette Sosa and husband, Roy Lerma, Johnny Sosa and wife, Andrea, Jessie Munoz, Jr. and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
