Mario Vicente Ramirez, 41, of Abilene, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 14, 2026. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 27, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis Catholic Church in Abilene, Texas. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at North's Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. Mario was born on July 24, 1984, in Abilene, Texas, to Nadine Gomez Casillas and Mario Victor Ramirez. Mario was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend whose love for his family knew no bounds. He loved harder than anyone who knew him, and his family was the center of his world. His heart was filled with compassion, loyalty, and generosity, and he never missed an opportunity to let those he loved know how much they meant to him. Mario had a beautiful smile that could light up any room. His smile, his laughter, and his kind heart brought comfort and joy to everyone around him. Whether he was spending time with family, making someone laugh, or simply showing up for the people he loved, Mario had a way of making everyone feel welcomed and valued. If you were fortunate enough to be loved by Mario, you experienced a love unlike any other-a love that was genuine, unwavering, and unconditional. Although his life was tragically cut short, the love he shared and the memories he created will remain forever in the hearts of those who loved him. His passing has left an unimaginable void, but his spirit and the unconditional love he gave will continue to live on through his family and friends. Mario is survived by his loving wife, Michelle Martinez Ramirez; his beloved daughter, Leeann Vasquez Ramirez; his mother, Nadine Gomez Casillas, and Juan Casillas; his sisters, Velisa Bordayo and Emiliana Ramirez; along with many cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and countless friends whose lives he touched. He was preceded in death by his beloved brother, Ricardo Bordayo; his father, Mario Victor Ramirez; his grandparents, Victor Ramirez and Eva Ramirez; and his uncles, Joseph Flores and Reynoldo Resendez. Mario will always be remembered for his beautiful smile, his generous heart, and the incredible love he gave so freely. He taught those around him the true meaning of unconditional love, loyalty, and family. Though our hearts are broken, we are forever grateful for the 41 years God blessed us with him. His memory will continue to live on in the stories we tell, the laughter we share, and the love that binds our family together. Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. Until we meet again, we will carry your love in our hearts every single day.
