Mark Sosa, age 50, passed from this life on Tuesday, July 18, 2023. Visitation for Mark will be held on Thursday, July 20th, 2023, from 5pm to 7pm at North's Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10 am on Friday, July 21st at North's with Pastor Jami McCravey officiating. Burial will follow at the Abilene City Cemetery. Mark was born on April 7th, 1973, in Colorado City, Texas to Angel and Maria Gloria Sosa. He worked as a Handyman for many years. Mark loved to work with his hands and enjoyed fixing bicycles, wood working and building birdhouses the were shaped and painted like NFL helmets. He was preceded in death by his father, Angel Sosa and his brother, Andy Gutierrez. Mark is survived by his mother, Maria Gloria Munoz; siblings, Lupio Gutierrez and wife Nora, Virginia Lara, Alicia Sosa, Josie Davis and husband Tom, Annette Sosa and husband Roy, Johnny Sosa and wife Andrea, and Jessie Munoz; sons, Mark Sosa, Jr., Anthony Sosa and many nieces and nephews.
