Obituary

Mary Hunter Mallett Gentry of Houston formerly of Abilene died December 26 2009.  She donated her body to the University of Texas Medical School and now her remains will be buried on Friday March 23 2012 at 10:00 AM at Elmwood Memorial Park with a Graveside Service under the directions of North's Funeral Home with Rev. Clifford Stewart First Central Presbyterian Church presiding.   Mary was born October 1 1917 in Austin oldest child of Charles Beatty and Rose Margaret Gissell Mallett.   She was preceded in death by her husband Elbert Arden Gentry; her daughter Nancy Jean Gentry Miller; her sisters Susan Gibson Mallett and Margaret Rose Mallett Woodall.   She is survived by her son Elbert Earl Gentry; daughter-in-law Gay both of Largo Florida son-in-law; Robert Miller of Houston grandchildren; Amy Miller Morello and Jason Miller both of Houston Ashley Gentry Bradley of Silver Spring MD Gregg Gentry of Boca Raton FL; great-grandchildren: Savannah Alex and Peter Morello and Emily Miller all of Houston Sloane and Sunday Bradley of Silver Spring MD; brother C. B. Mallett Jr of Dallas; and sisters Dorothy Pinkerton Annie Crawley and Carolyn Gerken of Amarillo; and many nieces and nephews.   In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donations be made to West Texas Rehabilitation Center or to your favorite charity.   On-line condolences may be made to www.northsfuneralhome.com
