Mary Ellen Clark Mann 76 of Abilene went to be with our Lord on Tuesday April 19 2011 after a long battle with cancer.   A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday at North's Memorial Chapel 242 Orange Street .   She was born April 6 1935 in Watson Texas to Harold and Mae Clark.   She married Bill Mann November 20 1953 in Levelland Texas .   She worked as a bookkeeper for many years at Texas Oil and Gas and for Richard Guinan CPA. She was a loving wife mother grandmother sister and aunt. She loved to read crochet and chat online. She always wore a smile and seldom met a stranger.   She will be missed by all.   She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandchild.   She is survived by her husband Bill Mann; three daughters Sherry Mann and Marilyn Mann both   of Abilene Rita Briscoe and husband Bobby of Sweetwater; one son Ricky Mann of Abilene; twelve grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; one sister Lucy Whiteside and husband Ramah of San Antonio; one aunt one uncle and several nieces and nephews.   Online condolences can be made at www.northsfuneralhome.com
