Mary E. Martinez, age 74 of Abilene went home to be with the Lord on May 31, 2021. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 9, 2021 from 6pm to 8pm at North's Funeral Home located on 242 Orange St. Abilene, TX. Celebration of life will be held at 10am Thursday, June 10, 2021 at North's with Pastor Scott Beard officiating. Burial services to follow at Elmwood Memorial Park. Mary was born in Abilene on September 10, 1946, to Everaldo and Julia D. Flores, residing in Abilene her entire life. She was an Administrative Assistant ll for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice whom retired from service this year. Mary was a devoted Christian and member of Fountaingate Fellowship Church. Mother Julia and father Everaldo Flores, along with six brothers and one sister welcomed her home. Mary is survived by her loving children, daughter Melissa M Martinez, sons, Ray Martinez Jr, Tony Martinez, George Martinez, five sisters, several grandchildren and great grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews.
