Mary Terry Prado, 61, of Abilene passed away Thursday, August 15, 2024. Visitation will be held Friday August 23, from 5-7pm, and Funeral Services will be held Saturday August 24, 2024 at 4pm at North's Funeral Home. Mary Terry was born July 24, 1963 in Abilene, TX to Isabel Johnston and Simon Y. Prado. Mary Terry received her primary education from Abilene public schools, graduating from Abilene High School in 1982. After High School Mary Terry started working at the Rose Park Recreation Center, and worked there for 24 years. She then worked at Walmart for 14 years. Mary Terry loved Music and loved to dance, she was very family oriented and loved spending time with her family, specifically her grandchildren. Mary was a mother to all and raised many children. Mary Terry was preceded in death by her parents Simon Y. Prado and Isabel Johnston, brother Robert Prado, sister Olivia Prado, twin brother Larry Prado, brother Simon Prado Jr. and niece Rachel Prado. Left to cherish her memories are: son, Johnny Flores and April Riojas of Abilene, TX grandchildren; Louis Flores, and Gage Flores of Abilene, Callie Flores mother of Mary Terrys Grandsons, sister Sandra Johnston of Abilene, Brother in-law Tony Servantez of Hutto, TX, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great-nephews, extended family and many friends.
