Mary Ann Ramsey 80 of Hawley passed away Sunday March 13 2011. A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Friday at Hawley Church of Christ with Paul Hendrickson and Don Sikes officiating. A private interment will take place at Texas State Veterans Cemetery under the direction of North's Funeral Home 242 Orange Street . Mary was born on July 31 1930 to Robert J. and Mary Elizabeth Neubauer Green in Donna Texas . She married Charles Alfred Ramsey on October 22 1948. She was a member of the Church of Christ . She was preceded in death by her parents husband and one sister Helen Hanna. She is survived by two daughters Sharon Raabe and husband Jerry of Waco and Bessie Sikes and husband Don of Hawley; a son Charles Alan Ramsey and wife Pam of Houston; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; three sisters Barbara Baker of Sequin Virginia Cameron of Corpus Christi and Patsy Thompson of Sinton; three brothers Robert Green of Mathis Jim Green of Bellville and William "Bill" Green of Elgin along with numerous nieces and nephews.
