Mary Simpson, 64, of Abilene, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2017. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Friday June 2, 2017 in the Holy Family Catholic Church with Father Fred Nawarskas officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. ~ 6:00 P.M. Thursday with Rosary at 6:00 P.M. ~ 7:00 P.M. in North's Memorial Chapel, 242 Orange Street. Mrs. Simpson was born October 28, 1952, in Newark, New Jersey to John and Jean (McDermitt) Crosby. She married Robert J. Simpson on July 16, 1988, in Abilene, Texas. She was a Registered Nurse for twenty-four years. She was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church. She loved traveling and cruises. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Cathy. She is survived by her loving husband Robert Simpson. One daughter, Kaitlyn Todsen and husband Adrian of Houston and one son Sean Castner of Austin. One grandson, Elijah. Three brothers; John Crosby, James Crosby and Thomas Crosby.
