Mary Jane Treviso, 79, of Abilene, Texas, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Francis Catholic Church, with Rev. Fr. Innocent Eziefule officiating. Visitation will take place Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at North's Funeral Home, with the Rosary beginning at 7:00 PM. Mary Jane was born on November 18, 1945, in Abilene, Texas, to Refugio "Cuco" and Paula Gonzales Treviso and was a life-long resident of Abilene, graduating from Abilene High School in 1964. She worked in customer service in the textile & uniform industry for many years for companies such as Martin Linen, Tartan Textile, National Uniform and finally, Cintas which she retired from. After being retired for about 10 years, she went to work part-time for KC Cleaners where she was loved by her coworkers and her customers. She remained there until her passing. A woman of deep, unwavering faith, Mary Jane lived her life grounded in love, kindness, and prayer. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church and her devotion to God guided her through life's joys and trials, and her trust in Him was the foundation of her strength and grace. Mary Jane had a heart full of passion and personality. She adored shopping on QVC, had a flair for fashion-especially when it came to purses, jewelry, and shoes-and never missed a Cowboys game, cheering them on with loyalty whether they won, lost, or tied. Her spirit was as bold as it was beautiful. But nothing brought her more joy than her family. Her love for her son, Joey, was strong and unshakable, and she beamed with pride over her grandchildren Asia Mary Jane Villarreal & Nigel Curtis Morelock. Even her beloved great-grand pup, Kiba, held a special place in her heart. Mary Jane's home was a place of warmth, where laughter rang out and love was always abundant. She cherished family gatherings and delighted in being surrounded not only by relatives but by the many friends who became like family over the years. Her laughter could light up a room, and her presence made others feel truly seen and loved. She had the gift of "knowing" a person and that was shown by the personalized gifts she would often send to loved ones. Mary Jane leaves behind a legacy of faith, strength, and fierce love. Her spirit will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew her. Mary Jane was preceded in death by her father Refugio M. Treviso (Cuco) & mother Paula G. Treviso, her youngest brother Peter Treviso, her oldest sister Roseanne Fierro and a niece, Elizabeth Cdebaca. Left to cherish her memories are son Joey Villarreal, granddaughter Asia Mary Jane Villarreal, grandson Nigel Curtis Morelock, her older brother Joe Treviso, niece Pauline Treviso Reaves (husband Juan, son Josh & daughter Julia), niece Patricia Treviso Gonzales (son Andy & husband Adan) & niece Monica Treviso along with a great-grand pup, Kiba and a host of cousins and life-long friends.
