Mary Rachel Valencia-Smith, 76 of Abilene passed away Sunday January 16, 2022 at her home with family by her side. Graveside service will be held Friday January 28, 2022 at 2pm at the Abilene Municipal Cemetery with Pastor Bobby King Officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday January 27, 2022 from 6-8pm at North's Funeral Home Chapel.

Mary Valencia was born August 22, 1945 in Abilene, TX. She was born to Theodore Gonzales Valencia and Juanita Arrellano Valencia.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband Donald Ray Smith, father, Theodore Valencia, mother Juanita Arrellano Valencia. 3 sisters Dora Valencia, Lupe Valencia, Delores Valencia, and 2 brothers Johnny Valencia, Moses Robertson and her first cousin Norrice Carrion who is still living in Abilene, TX. She leaves behind to mourn her memory, her children: Annette Rashad of Fort Worth, Arthur Bryant of Fort Worth, Charles Bryant of Abilene, Shikima Valencia of Fort Worth, Shawntay Valencia of Abilene, and Timika Williams of Fort Worth, 44 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren, and a host of extended family and many friends.
