Mary Lee Washington 75 of Abilene passed away Monday July 9 2012. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Ash St. Baptist Church with Rev. Louise Barrow officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening in North's Memorial Chapel 242 Orange St.   Mrs. Washington was born September 7 1936 to Curtis and Gussia Henry in Mt. Cam Texas. She worked as a housekeeper for many years. She was a member of the Ash St. Baptist Church for many years.   She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter.   She is survived by her husband Willie Washington. One brother Isiah Henry. Two sisters Annie Pauline and Deltha Bennett. In-laws; Hattie Washington Betty Richerson James Washington and Tylee Turnerhill. Grandchildren Roshanda Smith Chenell Cole and Charles Smith.
