Mary Annette Zimmerman, age 92, of Abilene, Texas, went to be with the Lord on June 29, 2023. Annette was born in Abilene, Texas, on June 30, 1930, to Thomas Hart Willis and Juanita McDaniel Willis. After graduating from Abilene High School in 1947, she attended North Texas State College in Denton, Texas. In 1952, she married Warner Earl Zimmerman, and they were married until his death in 2003. Annette worked as Warner's dental assistant for many years. Annette was a member of First Central Presbyterian Church in Abilene, Texas, and the John Davis Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her siblings, Thomas Hart Willis, Jr. of Abilene, Texas, and Sallie Louise Sinclair of Shallowater, Texas. She is survived by her son, David Earl Zimmerman, and his wife, Laura, of Georgetown, Texas; her son, Paul Edward Zimmerman, of Abilene, Texas; and her two grandchildren, Anna Mariah Zimmerman of Washington, D.C., and Martha Gabrielle Zimmerman of Montreal, Quebec (Canada).
