Melville Irene Brown passed from this life after a prolonged illness on August 27, 2022 in Abilene TX. Irene was born November 30, 1941 in Mineola Texas to Melvin and Juanita Jenkins. She began a long and successful career in the skin care industry. She was of the first in the U.S. to introduce medical grade Microdermabrasion with specially formulated products to enhance the procedure. She trained many doctors and estheticians across the U.S. in this procedure.

She was invited by Scott and White Hospital in Temple Texas to teach skin care wellness classes.

Irene had a special love for all her customers and was loved in return.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Stanley Brown of Potosi, Texas, a sister Deana Wood of Katy , TX, Two children, 5 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.

Melville was preceded in death by her son, David Medina and her mother Juanita Brown. Cremation services entrusted to North's Funeral Home.
