Michael D'Angelo De La Paz, also known as "Fat", gained his angel wings on July 28, 2021 at the age of 21. Visitation will on Sunday, August 1st, 2021 from 1pm to 3pm at Overflow Worship Center, 2958 Grape Street, Abilene. Funeral Services will follow at 3pm at the church. Michael was born on April 13th, 2000 to Vanessa Murillo and Daniel De La Paz in Abilene, TX. He graduated from Abilene High School in 2019. Michael loved spending time with his family, especially with his cousins. In his free time he enjoyed playing video games. He also enjoyed traveling to new places and was full of life. He was a caring, loving, and cheerful person who always had a smile on his face. Michael is survived by his stepmother Angelica Murillo, his father Daniel De La Paz, his sister Thalia Cardenas, his step-siblings Evonne, Juan, and Victor De La Paz. Grandparents Richard & Irene Hutton, Jose & Elizabeth De La Paz, and Carlos & Fela Salazar. He leaves behind his aunts and uncles Kevin Hutton, Timothy Lang, Mike O'Con, Rick and Annabelle Segura, Benny and Edward Murillo and many more, as well as numerous cousins. Preceded in death is his mother Vanessa Murillo, grandfather Eduardo Murillo, and great-grandparents Manuel & Emma Herrera. Michael will be missed dearly. We will hold Michael in our hearts until we hold him in heaven.
