Michael Conrad Phillips, 59, of Andrews, TX went to be with our Heavenly Father Thursday, April 18, 2024 while in the comfortable care at Hendrick Hospice Care. Michael was born October 28, 1964 in Andrews, TX to Anna Margaret Hughes and Conrad William Phillips, and was the youngest of 3. Michael received his primary education from Andrews schools. After High School he played college football for San Angelo State as well as what is now Texas State University and then the call of the Permian Basin oil fields screamed his name and he began a long fruitful career that allowed him to pursue his true calling and also see the world. He was always willing to pass on any bit of knowledge he possessed and always wanted to help those around him. In His spare time he loved to be outdoors. Hunting, fishing, yard work. It didn't matter if he was under the Sun he was happy. Michael was preceded in death by both his parents and brother William (B.J.) Left to cherish his memories are: his sons, Spencer Phillips and Garrett Phillips, his sister, Sandy Scoggins, her family, and everyone else that had the pleasure to know him through out the years.
