Mildred L. Edwards 100 formerly of Abilene passed away on August 31 in Winters Texas .  Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday at North's Memorial Chapel 242 Orange St. Burial to follow in Shep Cemetery .   Ms. Edwards was born September 22 1910 in Bosque County Texas to Robert and Cassie Walker.  When she was ten years old the family moved to Shep Texas . She graduated from Valley Creek High School . She married Hubert Marvin Edwards July 18 1931. They moved to Abilene where she worked as a cafeteria manager at Taylor Elementary school for over 20 years. She was a member of Shep Church of Christ.   She was preceded in death by her parent husband three brothers three sisters and two sons.   She is survived by one daughter; Adele Mims and husband Royce of Sweetwater. One son; Larry Edwards and wife Barbara of Shep Texas .
