It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Millard Martin Watson II, a cherished father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who left us peacefully on November 16, 2024, in Abilene Texas. Born on June 21, 1948, in San Angelo, Texas, Millard was the son of Millard Martin and Lottie Watson. He grew up in an atmosphere rich with love and support, an early foundation that shaped him into the remarkable man he A proud graduate of Crozier Technology High School in Dallas, Texas, Millard's life was characterized by a relentless pursuit of knowledge and a passion for technology. His affinity for computers and electronics marked a lifelong journey of discovery and innovation, allowing him to embrace the modern age with an enthusiasm matched by few. Millard's dedication to service was evident when he answered the call of duty as a member of the Army, where he proudly served as a Sergeant. His commitment to his country and his comrades spoke volumes about his character, highlighting his bravery and selflessness. Millard married Mary Marshall in 1966, cherishing years filled with memories until their separation in 1996. He later found companionship with Martha Laurie, and together they fostered warmth and understanding up until her passing in 2023. Millard's love for his family was unwavering, and he devoted himself wholeheartedly to providing care, support, and laughter to those around him. Millard is survived by his beloved son, Millard Martin Watson 3rd; his cherished daughters, Angelique Watson, John and Hannah Watson; and a tremendous source of joy, his grandchildren, including Jolene and Geneva. Each of his grandchildren held a special place in his heart, and he delighted in nurturing their dreams and ambitions, encouraging them to embrace life's adventures. In addition to his immediate family, Millard leaves behind a close-knit network of friends and relatives who will deeply mourn his absence. His legacy of generosity, wit, and wisdom will forever live on in the hearts and stories of those fortunate enough to know him. As we bid farewell to a remarkable soul, may we remember Millard Martin Watson II for his indomitable spirit and the love he shared. Millard will be buried that the DFW National Cemetery.
