Beloved Nancy Wanner, 72, of Abilene, entered into eternal life on October 31, 2022. Her graveside service will be held at Texas State Veteran Cemetery Abilene, at 2 pm on November 4th, 2022.
Nancy was born to the Late Maurice and Mary Lu Corbett, on October 30th, 1950 in South Bend, Indiana. She grew up in Kewanna and graduated from Kewanna High School in 1968. She married Ron Rentschler on September 7, 1968 and had 4 children, Jim, Jeff, Jason and Jacqueline. She then went on to marry Donald Wanner on December 27, 1985 and was happily married for nearly 35 years until his passing in November 2020. She worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield for several years, before retiring in 2015.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, catching up and having lunch. She loved staying home and watching crime shows, but was also known to get into a shenanigan or two with her best friend. Nancy was an amazing soul, who touched so many lives, and she will be remembered dearly.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Wanner, daughter Jacqueline Sullivan and son-in-law, Daniel Sullivan, as well as two sisters and a brother, Sharon Sue Carlson, Michele Ann Corbett and Danny Leroy Corbett.
She is survived by her 3 sons Jim Rentschler, Jeff(Wendi) Rentschler, and Jason Rentschler, her brother Greg(Sharon) Corbett, 11 grandchildren,10 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
