Nehemiah Jerel Campbell-Sims of Abilene passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. Funeral Services will be held at Wednesday February 5th, 2020 at 11am at New Light Baptist Church, in Abilene Texas. Visitation will be held Tuesday February 4th, 2020 in the North Memorial Chapel from 6-8pm. Nehemiah was born July 17, 2014 in Abilene, TX to Amanda Lynn Perez and Nicholas Jerel Campbell. Nehemiah dreamed of becoming a firefighter and fly in a helicopter one day. He was quite the chatter box and loved to ask many questions. He never met a stranger he was very caring, sensitive, and loved the ladies. He enjoyed playing with his superheroes and loved to wrestle. Nehemiah loved to eat snacks along with whatever anyone had to snack on, he liked to make his own hot dogs and the best noodles. Nehemiah was a spider-man fan and enjoyed watching spider-man into the Universe. He loved going to school, he even proposed to his pre -k teacher Mrs. Rodriguez. Nehemiah was preceded in death by maternal grandfather; Jose Perez, paternal grandmother; Lisa Campbell, paternal great grandfather; Lehman Campbell. Left to cherish his memories are mother, Amanda Lynn Perez, father Nicholas Jerel Campbell, siblings Adilene Perez, Kamille Campbell, Lucas Self, Ny'laijah Campbell-Sims, Sa`nyia Smith, Ny`jayvion Campbell-Sims, Nicholas Campbell-Sims.
