O. N. ""Red"" Myatt 85 of Hamby passed away Thursday June 18 2009. Services will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at North's Memorial Chapel with Dr. Herb Wood officiating. Burial will follow in Round Mound Cemetery under the direction of North's Funeral Home 242 Orange St. Red was born July 30 1923 to Oscar and Nell Myatt in Callahan County. He moved to Jones County in 1945. He was a stock farmer for over 50 years. He married Desma Hale on April 13. 1985 in Mt. Vernon Texas. He was preceded in death by; his parents wife two brothers one sister and one step-son.
