Otto Biberdorf 76 of Abilene passed away Friday September 6 2013. Services are scheduled Monday at 12:00 p.m. in Our Savior Lutheran Church with Rev. LaVerne Janssen officiating. Burial will follow in the Texas State Veterans Cemetery under the direction of North's Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from Sunday 2 – 4:00 p.m. in North's Memorial Chapel 242 Orange St.  Mr. Biberdorf was born September 25 1936 in Rugby North Dakota to Alfred and Albena (Bauer) Biberdorf. He graduated from Willow City High School in 1954. After graduation he entered the United States Air Force where he proudly served his country from October 1954 to May of 1975 where he retired at Dyess Air Force Base. He was an aircraft propeller technician A and B. After retirement from the Air Force he worked fourteen years for Hawkins Air Conditioning and fourteen years at United Bank and Trust. He married Shirley Ann Thomas on May 10 1958 in Ardmore Oklahoma. They were members of Our Savior Lutheran Church for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents wife two brothers Edgar and Walter Biberdorf.  He is survived by one son Brent and wife Holly of Baird Texas. Two sisters Elsie Marsh and Marilynn Adell. One brother Marvin Biberdorf. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
