Pablo Anchondo Anchondo of Abilene passed away Friday, August 18, 2023. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 21, 2023 AR 12:00PM at Primera Baptist 442 North Treadaway Blvd. Abilene, Texas 79601. Visitation will be held Monday, August 21, 2023, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Primera Baptist. Pablo was born January 15th 1939 in El Chamizal, Chihuahua, Mexico to Manuela Anchondo and Pablo Anchondo. Pablo received his primary education from Chihuahua public schools. After high-school he pursued his dreams as a boxer, but eventually settled down to the working class dream of family and home. With his wife Magdalena, they shared a passion for outdoor gardening. Together they planted flower gardens and peach trees, giving the gift of outdoor adventure to their grandchildren. Pablo Anchondo is survived by his wife Magdalena Anchondo, his daughters, Maria Ybarra, Angelina Velasquez, his son Juan Pablo Anchondo, and his many grandchildren. His life fostered a lineage of union workers, healthcare workers, school teachers and logistics workers for the greater Texas community.
