Pamela Denise Glover was born on April 9, 1962 to Blanche Franklin and Willie Edward Glover. Pamela was raised primarily by her mother and stepfather George Augustus. Pamela attended school in the Abilene Independent School District and graduated from Abilene High School in 1980. After high school, Pamela attended Kennedy King College in Chicago, Illinois where she majored in Psychology.
Pamela was always the life of the party, quick to sing along and dance to every Nancy Wilson, Phyllis Hyman, and Donald Byrd song that was played on the radio. Pamela was also no stranger to tasty savory snacks and please lets us not forget about the eyeliner. She certainly had her own sense of style. On a more serious side, her passion, love for life, and family have always been of the utmost importance. Pamela loved and felt the need to protect all children, especially her grandchildren.
Pamela was preceded in death by her father, Willie Edward Glover (1993), her mother, Blanche Franklin (2007), her sister, Vonda Glover (2012), and her brother Daron Glover (2018).
Pamela leaves behind to cherish: her children; Whitney Johnson, Tamara Glover-James, and Hope Gardner. Grandchildren; Vivian Johnson, Leionna Hunter, Kierre Hunter Jr, Richard Gardner, Cymphonii Garder, and Gabbi Gardner. Her beloved Aunt; Marilyn Franklin of Louisville, Kentucky, and her siblings; Clifton Franklin of Abilene Texas, Roslyn Clayton (Michael) of Cleveland Ohio, Bliss Glover of Arlington Texas, Deirdre Wheeler of Abilene Texas, Andrea Evans of Crowley Texas, Monica Harrison (Jeffory) of Louisville Kentucky, Schrildea Glover of Terrell Texas, and a host of nieces and nephews extended family and many friends.
