Pamela Ann Hamilton, 69, of Abilene, Texas, passed away with family by her side on June 27th, 2022 in Abilene. Visitation will be at 5:00pm to 7:00pm on July 11th, 2022at North Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, July 12th, 2022, Valley View Missionary Baptist Church, 3564 Clinton St. Abilene TX, with Elder Shaun Hamilton of Mt. Pisgah Church of Dayton, Ohio, officiating. Burial will follow at Texas State Veterans Cemetery. Services are under the direction of North's Funeral Home 242 Orange Street in Abilene, Texas 79604.
Pamela Ann Hamilton was born in Uvalde, Texas to Buster Brown and Ora Belle Washington on July 8, 1952. Pamela moved to abilene at an early age and received her primary education from Abilene public schools. Pamela attended Antioch CME Church and it was there she accepted Christ. She graduated from Abilene High School in 1970, She married John Hamilton on December 28th, 1973in Abilene, Texas. Pamela was known by many, she had a heart of laughter, and a genuine love for people. She was a very giving person who would give her last. Pamela loved giving gifts to those who cared for her. She was accepted into Nursing School at TSTC but due to her health she was unable to attend. She loved baking and was known for her homemade cinnamon rolls. Pamela worked for Abilene High as a cook for many years.
Pamela Hamilton was preceded in death by mother, Ora Belle Washington, father, Buster Brown, brother, Kenny Washington, sister Jean Lister.
Left to cherish her memories are husband of 48 years PastorJohn Hamilton, Sons: Scott Washington, Brian Hamilton, Jeff Hamilton, Lance Hamilton, Todd Hamilton, Shaun Hamilton.
Daughters-in-law: Christi Harrell, DeJuana Hamilton, Patricia Hamilton, Kelsey Hamilton, Felicia Hamilton. Brothers Gary Washington, and Donald Craig Washington, 17 Grandchildren; 4 Great Grandchildren; and many other, who she always treated like family.
