Patricia Fisher Adkins March 18, 1942 - September 10th, 2023 Patricia (Pat) Fisher Adkins (81) of Abilene, Texas passed away on September 10th 2023, at Hendrick Hospice Care after a short illness. Pat was raised in Houston, Texas and graduated from Lamar High School. Pat was a faithful member of Wylie Baptist Church in Abilene. Her loving church friends became family to Pat. They were there for her in good times and in bad. As a devout Christian, Pat was not afraid of death because she looked at it as a Homecoming with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Pat had an adventurous soul. She spent several years living in the wilds of Canada with her former husband, raising wolves. Pat was a lover of nature and an avid gardener who would spend hours working in her flower beds to ensure the plants were well cared for and were a source of enjoyment for others and nutrition for the birds she loved to watch from her livingroom windows. While Pat will be missed by many dear friends and family, they know she is at peace with our Heavenly Father and no longer suffering. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Bert P. and Alma M. Fisher. Left to cherish her memories are her son, Ross M. Perry (wife, Lek); daughter, Laura A. Perry; and Ross's son, Pat's only grandchild, Christopher R. Perry. Pat was also survived by her devoted dog, Happy, who brought her much joy for many years.
