Patricia Gayle Kidwell Harkins passed from this life to her eternal life on Saturday March 26 2011.   She spread her wings and soared to heaven into the arms of her Lord.   Graveside services will be Monday at 10:00 a.m. at Hawley Cemetery under the direction of North's Funeral Home with Roscoe McCoy officiating.   The family will receive friends Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at North's Funeral Home 242 Orange Street .   Born in National City California on November 19 1942 Gayle was the daughter of Levi and Pinkie Kidwell.   She spent the majority of her childhood in the Rochester-Abilene area.   Gayle married Jimmy Lee Harkins on December 5 1959 in Hawley where they made their home and together reared a family of three children.     Gayle was preceded in death by her husband of forty two years and her parents.   Gayle is survived by one son Jimmy Dale of Abilene; two daughters Debra and her partner Katy Forster of Abilene and Michelle Hughes and her husband Dave of Hawley; three sisters Sue Wade of Granite Shoals Genetta Gillit of San Antonio and Bonnie St. Clair of San Bernardino California; eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law Sandy Webb and Vicky Canady both of Abilene; and her beloved pet "Bloopers".   Memorials may be made to Hendrick Hospice Care 1682 Hickory Street Abilene Texas or Rescue the Animals 5933 South First Street Abilene Texas .   Online condolences can be made at www.northsfuneralhome.com.
