Patricia Munoz, 97, of Abilene, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2026.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Francis Catholic Church. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 9, 2026, from 5:00-7:00 PM, with a Rosary beginning at 6:00 PM.

Patricia was born on August 19, 1929, in Texas to Marcelina Munoz and Solomon Munoz. She married the love of her life, Venancio Munoz, on September 17, 1963, and together they shared a life filled with love and family.

Patricia was a devoted wife and loving mother whose family meant everything to her. She was known for her caring and kind heart and always cherished the time she spent with those she loved. She took great pride in caring for her family and will be remembered for the love and warmth she shared with them throughout her life.

In her spare time, Patricia enjoyed making quilts, creating beautiful pieces with her hands that reflected her patience and care. She also enjoyed a good BBQ and the simple pleasures of gathering and sharing a meal with family.

Patricia is preceded in death by her husband Venancio, and their son, Simon Muñoz.

Left to cherish her memories are: son, Benny Munoz; her two siblings, Raymundo Muñoz and Marta Muñoz Ortiz, both of Poteet, TX, and numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of extended family and friends.

Patricia will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to her family will forever live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
