Patsy Ruth Boyd 78, of Coleman, Texas formerly of Abilene passed away Sunday, August 14, 2016. A funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Tuesday in North's Memorial Chapel with Don Boyd officiating. Burial will follow in Shep Cemetery, under the direction of North's Funeral Home, 242 Orange St. Mrs. Boyd was born November 15, 1937 in Blackwell, Texas to B. L. and Eddie May (Modrall) Roland. She married Ernest L. Boyd on June 16, 1656. She was part-time homemaker and part-time Nurse's Aide. She was a past member of the Shep Church of Christ. She enjoyed her sewing and music hobbies. She was preceded in death by her parents and five brothers. She is survived by her husband of sixty years, Ernest of Coleman. Two sons, Johnny Lee Boyd of Trinidad, Texas, and Randall Ray Boyd of Coleman, Texas. One sister, Eunice Murrary of Bronte, Texas. Four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
