With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Paul Kirby on Wednesday, December 4th, 2024 at the age of 61. Paul was born on November 8th, 1963 in Tucson, AZ. His family moved to Abilene, TX, where Paul grew up, when he was around 5 years old. Paul grew to be a passionate follower of our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ. Paul is preceded in death by his father Arthur Kirby of Salem, SD, his sister Rhonda Kirby, his step father Andy Esparza of Abilene, TX and several aunts, uncles and cousins in the Anderson, IN area. Paul is survived by his loving mother Rosemary Esparza of Abilene, TX, siblings James Kirby along with wife Shana Kirby of Sioux Falls, SD, Don Kirby of Abilene, TX, half sister Misty Esparza of Pflugerville, TX, step sister Rhonda Esparza of Libby, MT and nieces Alyssa Hines of Sioux Falls, SD, Olivia Wehler of Pflugerville, TX and nephew Chris Hammer of Harrisburg, SD. Paul will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be held Friday, December 6, 2024 from 2:00-6:00 PM at North's Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 12:00 PM at First Church of the Nazarene located at 2849 Beltway S. Abilene, TX 79606 with burial to follow at Elmwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene's building fund.
