`Paul Mesa Jr. "Pablo" of Abilene passed away Friday, January 7, 2022 at his home. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday January 18, 2022 at 10am, at St. Vincent Pallotti Catholic Church. Visitation will be held Monday January 17, 2022 at North's Funeral Home from 6-8pm with Rosary at 7pm. Paul was born February 15, 1960 in Abilene, TX to Ninfa Galvan and Pablo Mesa Sr.. Paul received his primary education from Abilene Public schools. Pablo worked for many years as a Roofer. Paul started in the roofing business with his father Pablo Sr.. Paul was a free spirited person who loved to live life the way he wanted. He was fun to be around and always had a smile on his face. He loved to hang out with friends and family telling jokes and making everyone laugh. He helped everyone out when they needed it. He made friends everywhere he went. He wasn't a stranger to anyone. He loved listening to music, watching the news, watching football and his favorite saying was "Whats going on Big Dog" Paul was preceded in death by parents Pablo Mesa Sr., and Ninfa Galvan Mesa, sisters; Lupe Mesa, Norma Mesa, brother, Oscar Mesa, and niece Jennifer Flores. Left to cherish his memories are: Brother Raul "Roy" Mesa of Benbrook, TX, nieces; Kimberly Lopez of Abilene, Lindsey Stockton of Abilene, Davina Flores of Dallas, nephews: Gary Woods of Lubbock, Brian Ott of Abilene, Ruben Ott of Dallas, Aunt Rosa Garcia of Abilene, Aunt Maryann Stokes of Abilene and Uncle Ted Garcia of Abilene. He loved his Nieces and nephews like they were his own kids. Paul had numerous great-nieces and nephews, Cousins, extended family and many friends. Pallbearers will be Gabriel Renteria, Izaeah Martinez, Gary Woods, Isaiah Lopez, Pete Acosta, Ruben Ott, Edward Flores, Justin Stokes and Robert Mesa III, Albert Martinez. Honorary Pallbearers: Brian Ott, Eric Tafoya, Robert Mesa Jr. The Family suggest that face mask be worn. Services entrusted to North's Funeral Home.
