Obituary

Our beloved father grandfather and great- grandfather Pablo F. Sigala 83 years old passed away Saturday October 13 2012. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday in St. Vincent's Catholic Church with Father Terry Brenon. The family will receive friends from 5 – 6:30 p.m. Monday in North's Memorial Chapel with Rosary from 6:30 – 7:00 p.m.   Pablo was a lifelong resident of Abilene. He worked for R. E. Janes Gravel Company for many years and retired from Salta Pipe. He had many passions one of which was repairing air conditioners. He was a very loving husband father father-in-law grandfather and great-grandfather.   He was preceded in death by his parents Cresencio and Benita Sigala. Brothers; Cresencio Jr. and Augustine. Sisters; Mickie Deanda   Ofilia Cisneros and Alicia Davila.   He is survived by his wife of 64 years; Tomasa Sigala. Children; Stella Diaz Mary Ruth Valdez (Paul) David Sigala Sr. (Delores) Minnie Granado (Mando) Pat Sigala (Anna). Grandchildren Michael P.J. Danny Edith Angela Celina D. J. Anthony Adriana and Mandito. Fourteen great-grandchildren with the expectation of two by the end of the year. Two siblings; Esperanza Martinez of Orosi California and Manuel Sigala of Arlington Texas. Several beloved nieces and nephews.   Pallbearers will be his grandsons; Michael P. J. Danny D.J. Anthony and Mandito. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Tapia Jaxon Kissick and Paul Ortiz.   His legacy will live on forever thru his children grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom he adored and cherished. His family will always remember his last words to us as we left his home ~ "Que dios te bendiga y que no te pasa nada".
