Peggy Smith 75 of Hamby passed away Thursday November 20 2008. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday at St. Marks Episcopal Church with Jim Smart officiating. Burial to follow in Hamby Cemetery under the direction of North's Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6: - 7:30 p.m. Saturday evening at North's Memorial Chapel 242 Orange St. Ms. Smith was born September 12 1933 to Willy and Vida Morris in Sapulpa Oklahoma. She married Daniel L. Smith in Jacksboro Texas March 14 1952. They moved to Abilene in 1968. She was a long time manager of Northside Farmer's Market. She was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church. She was preceded in death by her parents husband one sister and one son; Price E. Smith. She is survived by two sons; Daniel E. Smith of Irving Texas and Mark E. Smith of West Tawakoni Texas.
