Philip Lynn Harrison, age 74, of Abilene Texas, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2025. Phil was born in San Antonio, Texas on September 17, 1950. He was adopted as an infant by PL and LaRue Harrison of Winters, Texas. Phil graduated from Winters High School and
attended Angelo State University where he earned a degree in Business Administration. Phil ran the family auto parts stores, Harrison Auto Parts, in Winters and Ballinger, until they closed in 2005. When he was not working at the auto parts stores, Phil was often found in his shop woodworking and building furniture or in the garage working on cars. He was an active member of First Baptist Church Ballinger and Crossway Baptist Church of Abilene. Phil was married to Brenda Goodwin Harrison of Abilene, Texas.
Phil was preceded in death by his parents, PL and LaRue Harrison, and his son, Matthew Harrison.
Phil is survived by his wife, Brenda Harrison of Abilene; children Jennifer Choat of Round Rock and Brian and Michelle Goodwin of Abilene; sibling, Rex Harrison of Winters; grandchildren, Kaitlin and Josh Surratt of Richmond Texas, Harrison Adam, Kennedy Adam and Houston Choat of Round Rock, Emma Harrison and Zac Harrison of Ballinger, and Lauren Goodwin of Abilene; great-grandson, Tucker Surratt of Richmond, and many cousins and extended family members.
