Phillip Wesley McCarty, 64 Phillip Wesley McCarty was born in Abilene, Texas to John Jeter McCarty and Nora Woodward McCarty on September 17, 1959. He graduated from Wylie High School in Abilene, Texas. Phillip was preceded in death by both parents as well as a younger sister, Yvonne McCarty. Philip is survived by: brothers, John Norman McCarty and wife Mary of Merkel, Jimmy Dean McCarty of Lubbock, Harvey Wayne McCarty of` Waco, and sister Vicky Ann Bays of Colorado. Phillip will be truly missed. His over-the-top laughter when he was excited will forever be heard. Phillip was not a rich man, but he gave life to Acts 3:6, "...Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give to you!" He was unapologetic about his love for the Lord and was willing to pray for anyone. Phillip touched many lives just with his sense of fashion, silly jokes, and his simple smile. To know Phillip was to love Phillip. His life was not an easy journey, but he turned lemons into lemonade. His journey ended with him resting in the arms of Jesus and hearing Him say, "Well done Phillip! Thy good and faithful servant."
