Phillip Paul Robinson, 67, of Abilene, passed away Friday January 2, 2015 at home. A private family service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery on Tuesday. The family will host a celebration of life gathering for friends at The Warehouse, 357 Walnut Street from 4:30 to 7:00 pm Wednesday evening. Phillip was born December 9th, 1947 in Abilene to Tildon Clark Robinson II and Dorothy Louise Crawford. He married Susan Reeves on January 3rd, 1970 and graduated from Texas Tech University in May of 1971. After returning to Abilene in 1975, he worked alongside his parents running the family business, Master Cleaners, an Abilene business for 66 years. Phillip is preceded in death by this parents and sister, Susan Denise Robinson. He is survived by his wife, Susan Reeves Robinson; son and daughter in law Bryan Robinson and Katherine (Mann) Robinson of Abilene and daughter and son-in-law Paige Robinson Bilins and Brett Bilins of Brooklyn, NY; grandchildren Jake Lee Robinson (9), Keira Beth Robinson (6) and Beau Tildon Bilins (9 mos); brother Tildon Clark Robinson III. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to West Texas Rehabilitation Center, Alliance for Women and Children, Hospice of the Big Country, or CurePSP (psp.org).
