Rafael L. Medrano 93 of Abilene passed away Sunday July 21, 2024 in Abilene, Funeral services will be held Friday August 2, 2024 at 10am at Templo Gethsemane 2001 Park Ave, with burial to follow at Elmwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held at North's Funeral Home Thursday August 1, 2024 from 5-7pm. Rafael Lara Medrano was born in Acambaro Guanajuato Mexico to Luis Medrano and Imelda Lara on October 24, 1930. He married Maria Gonzaga Medrano on May 31,1997 in North Hollywood California. He worked as an agriculture till he retired. Rafael Lara Medrano was preceded in death by his father Luis Medrano, mother Imelda Lara, Daughter Olga Rua Medrano, Brother Ruben Medrano. Rafael Lara Medrano is survived by Wife Maria Gonzaga Medrano, Sons Luis Alcaraz Medrano from California,David Medrano from Abilene Texas, Rafael Medrano and Wife Elma Medrano from Arkansas, daughter Ariana Renteria and husband Luis Renteria from Colorado City Texas. Grandchildren Faith Alcaraz, Luis Alcaraz, Odessa Renteria, Atiana Renteria, Erika Medrano, Eduardo Medrano, Daniel Medrano, Jessica Saenz Rua. Great-Grandchildren Olivia Lebreaulth, Gracie Medrano, Omar Saenz, Isaac Saenz and many brothers, sister, nephews, nieces, cousins.
