TSgt (RET) Raymond "Ray" Clifford Presley 70 of Abilene Texas died peacefully on January 7 2013 at Hendrick Hospice Care. He had resided in the Abilene area for over thirty-five years after being stationed at Dyess Air Force Base in 1976. Ray was born to Roy Monroe and Aleen (Bailey) Presley in West Point Kentucky on January 5 1943. He is a veteran of the Viet-Nam war who served his country for twenty years before retiring from the military in 1981. He is survived by his life partner Selina Elizabeth Reed his daughter Annette Kay Berry of Seminole Texas and two sons Raymond Clifford Presley Jr. of Abilene and Randall Craig Presley of Lamesa Texas plus eleven grandchildren three great-grandchildren and Selina's six children and fourteen grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother James Presley and a sister Jewel Presley. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Charles Presley. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at North's Funeral Home 242 Orange Street. Interment will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday in the Texas State Veterans Cemetery at Abilene under the direction of North's Funeral Home and officiated by Dr. Herb Wood.
