Obituary

Rebecca "Becca" Greaves Benson passed away March 02 2013 in Hospice at Hendrick Medical Center. Becca was born March 02 1942 in Coleman TX. She graduated from Coleman High School in 1960. She was preceded in death by her mother Polly Greaves and father Raymond Greaves. She is survived by her son Lance Benson and his wife Heidi of Abilene her son Charlie Benson and his wife Julie of Belton her five grandchildren Jake Jordan Lexi Zane and Marlie; a sister Connie Patton of Wichita KS and nephew Guy Patton and wife Connie of Clyde TX. Becca had a passion for gardening cooking and most of all her family and friends. Becca was very involved within the city of Buffalo Gap. She served on the City Council was a founding member of the Economic Development Board a founding member of the Buffalo Gap Farmer's Market and the founder of the Buffalo Gap Recycling program. Becca was employed by Renick and Associates as their in house Accountant. Prior to working at Renick she was the Owner and operator of Out of the Woods and Sister's Tea Room. Becca was full of life and loved to be in the middle of the action. Her smile and laugh would fill and warm a room. She lived life to the fullest. She will be dearly missed by all. Memorial services will be held at the Buffalo Gap Village Chapel in Buffalo Gap TX on March 23 2013 at 3:00pm. Online condolences can be made at www.northsfuneralhome.com.
