The funeral will be held on Wednesday January 17th at 1 PM at Life Church at 2465 Old Anson Rd. Abilene Tx. Officiated by Ezequiel Pecina He is survived by his daughters Adriana and Brianna Lara of Abilene Tx. And his mother Carolina Lara, Three brothers Ramiro Lara, Samuel Lara and Saul Lara all of Abilene. As well as Two sisters Isabel Hernandez of Abilene and Irma Lara of San Angelo. He is preceded in death by his wife Tina Gomez Lara, Father Ramiro Lara, and brother Ismael Lara. Paul bearers Jose Angel Salazar, Doroteo Salazar, Emiliano Lara, Tino Arispe, Nicco Arispe, and Sonny Martinez. Rene was always willing to lend a hand. He showed his love by helping those around him. He had an infectious laugh that few got the opportunity to hear. His life was wild and he lived it to the fullest. But he enjoyed the simple things in life like watching tv, going on a drive, and spending time with his family. Rene worked hard his entire life and left a legacy his daughters can be proud of.
