Richard Gray (R. G.) Robinson passed away at a local hospital on June 25 2011.   A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday July 30 2011 at North's Memorial Chapel 242 Orange Street with Pastor Michael Reed officiating assisted by Brother Charles Baker.   Richard was born July 26 1934 in Flatonia Texas to Boe and Gertrude Robinson.   He graduated from Flatonia High School in 1954 moved to Abilene and was employed by Halliburton Service for 30 years.   He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church .   He was preceded in death by his parents two brothers Travis and Bryan; sister Doris Nell; grandson Michael Puglisi; brothers-in-law Charlie Wehmeyer George White Ishmael Allen Bob Norman; and sister-in-law Jackie Robinson.   He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years Patricia (Pat) Bryan Robinson of Abilene; daughters:   Cheri Lee and husband Cory of Renton Washington; Lynda Weldon and husband Lance of Puyallup Washington; Misty Mach of Abilene; Sally Carpenter of Arlington; Charlotte Lambert and husband Tracy of Abilene; son Robin Robinson and wife Donna of Tacoma Washington; grandchildren:   Christopher Puglisi Stephanie McGuire Dustin Mach Katie Jackson Bryan Jackson Attie Jackson Pamela Robinson Adam Robinson;   great-grandsons A. J. and Chris; sisters:   Iola Wehmeyer of Flatonia Mary Oma Allen of Terrell Dixie White of Liberty Hill Joy Manofsky and husband A. J. of New Braunfels sisters-in-law:   Leonita Robinson of Flatonia Betty Norman of Marshall; brother-in-law William Bryan and wife Trish of Marshall; and several nieces and nephews.   Richard was a man of faith a blessing to his family and will be remembered with love.   Memorials may be made to one's favorite charity or organization.   Online condolences can be made at www.northsfuneralhome.com
