Richard Morris Thomas 10-09-1968 06-09-2024 55 years old Ricky, as he was known by loved ones, passed peacefully to heaven June 9th with his wife by his side. He was preceded in death by his mom, Linda Faye Thomas, his dad, Weldon Morris Thomas, and his brother, Weldon Russell Thomas. He is survived by his wife Maria Lockhart, younger brother Weldon Thomas Jr. (Buck), son Davin Lockhart, daughters Sara Sherrod, Katie Sherrod, and Sydney Thomas, as well as 3 granddaughters, (Addison, Mycah, EmmaLynn) and 1 grandson (Mason). He is also survived by several nephews and his niece. Services are pending. The family thanks Hendrick Cancer Center, Hendrick CCU team, and Hendrick Inpatient Hospice for the care that was given to him.
