Ricky Paul Adams, age 56 passed away peacefully on May 9th, 2023. Graveside services will be held at 11am Tuesday, May 23rd, 2023, with Mary Gaston officiating and Military Honors by the US Army. Ricky was born on February 4th, 1967, in Abilene to Bobby Rayford Adams and Gail Dean Blount Adams and lived in the area his entire life. After graduating from Cooper High School in 1985, Ricky served his country in the U.S. Army. After his military service he worked as a waiter and was a cook at the Dixie Pig for several years. For the last 10 years Ricky devoted his life to raising his three grandsons, Hayden, Jonathan and Brayden, "His Three Redheads". Ricky's passing will leave a large hole in many lives. He will be dearly missed. Ricky is preceded in death by his parents Bobby and Gail Adams; son, Jonathan Paul Adams; granddaughter, Lylah June Adams; brothers, Bobby Rayford Adams, Jr., Terry Wayne Moseley and Otis Ross Adams and sisters in law, Kelly Adams, and Cathy Moseley. Ricky is survived by his daughter, Santana Adams; grandsons, Hayden Price, Jonathan Price and Brayden Price; brothers, Lynn Harris and wife Helen, Davis Adams and Jimmy Adams; sisters, Sonja Crawford, Carmen Moseley, Pattie Parkhill and husband Matt, Angel Smith and husband Alan, Margaret Rankin and husband Ricky, Melinda Stevens and husband Ken, Mary Boland and husband Joey and Tammie Burnst. After the services the family will host a time of continued fellowship and remembrance at 2433 N. 3rd st, Apartment 128 in Abilene.
